Christmas Dinner

Last friday the whole company enjoyed a festive outing into the Jordaan - the evening started in a local bar with some traditional Dutch music before some good local food at De Eetkamer vld Jordaan and followed by Cafe NOL for those that still had the Jordaanese party vibe - All in all an enjoyable evening, thanks to everyone who came and enjoyed the festivities.

Sales book photo shoot

Last week we spent a good day shooting the new sales book with the creative team in an old Amsterdam house. The shots where great and some good results for the sales book and showroom pictures - thanks to all who helped out.

German Showroom

A couple of pictures from our German showroom - the new Fall/12 collection will be in from the end of November. 

Annabella Fashion Award - Switzerland

Couple of the team where down in Switzerland this week visiting customers with the new Fall/12 collections and working out their new ideas. After a good couple of days last night they attended the Annabella Fashion Awards (congratulations to the winner Maxime Rpaz) and took in the Cavalli show (with the man there himself) - it was a good evening all round and we wish them a safe trip back.

Shanghai Fabric Fair

The team just returned from a good sourcing trip in Shanghai visiting some of our key fabric suppliers, to see their new collections and source our Winter 12 customer requests. They saw some tough challenges on price due to the growing economy in China, but also some good innovation in fabrics.

Work in progress Jan Kuperus Winter 2012

Several good working sessions with Jan and the team to develop the new Winter 2012 collection. The collection is a mix of classic pieces with a modern twist.

Premier Vision

Last week we spent a good couple of days at Premier Vision catching up with some European mills, looking out the colours for the new season and the predictions for Spring 13.

London Shop Report

Leather Tannery and Printer visit

As part of our last sourcing visit to china we inspected on of our regular tanneries to check on the status of production skins for Fall/11 and ethical standards.

Baseball Jacket

Just delivered a nice baseball jacket for our friends at RF mills - reactions are very positive in the market with already some good sell through.

A couple of classic wnter items from our collection the camel coat and larger fake fur trimmed padded jacket.

Snake

From the market we have had a lot of demand for snake print on leather as well as what you see on the catwalks.

Fabric Sourcing Fall Winter 12

We are in the process of sourcing new fake fur, fabrics and accessories for customers Fall/Winter 12 collections as we start to develop patterns and proto's. 

China - Cashmere Wool Sourcing

On a recent visit to China we went into one of our wool and cashmere fabric partners - nice bright blues and pail reds where coming through as well as classic tweeds in their collection.
